NOTE: Before any of you decide to go further with this blog, understand that this will be the longest project review I have done on an artist’s work...If you have no interest in reading through any or all of this context. It is very understandable. I spent almost 3-5 days working on it when I wasn’t doing commissions for someone. I wasn’t really aware of how long it was until after I was done with it.
I made half a dozen corrections, and I still felt like I had more to add to it..I just wanted it to be perfect by providing as much input into it as possible on many different things in the video, somethings I talk about a lot more than others. With that said Thank you and enjoy.
In short answer to the question above? Yes it is worth the purchase, for only five dollars your paying for content that’s worth twice that! If you are one of the many people that chose to wait for a public release versus the few that paid for it, that’s fine but I encourage people to just pay for these next time in the future.
After all, this could mean we get this sort of material FULL TIME and maybe on a regular basis if he’s up to it. Work of this magnitude is energy draining. Therefore we can’t expect him to deliver another one so soon. Plus Red Dead Redemption II lol is going to have him busy in the Wild West for awhile. But hell he earned that break from this project. What a ride!
But honestly you want to make sure these artist are able to stay relevant by supporting what their doing, so that they are able to keep working when they are available to produce content for us. It’s very important that they are making enough sales when they complete it. If not, then we can lose some very high quality and talented artist because of selfishness, believe me YOU DO NOT WANT THAT! There is already a major shortage in animators creating full length material. While I do understand that we all have limited budgets these days. I still think it’s foolish if a person complains about extremely low cost content........I’m poor too, but $5.00 is nothing compared to things I’ve spent money on in the past.
I have never felt like Desire was cheating anyone out of something even for his top tier content, whatever he’s offering on patreon I can honestly vouch for him and say that it’s ALL WORTH IT! Including the short animations he does from time to time, WORTH IT!
A lot of people hate paywalls, but just like any other work people do. You have some artist that completely gave up or faded into obscurity because they couldn’t stay relevant. (Rapetacular is one of those top tier artists struggling).
Anyway I paid at least $30.00 for M.I.C. instead of the $5.00 and then an extra Five dollars because I lost the video then found it later lol.
I paid him based on what I believed the value of the video was worth, and i think it’s worth at least $40.00 for it’s quality and length plus the time it took for him to make it. I would have paid more than what I gave if I had it that’s because, I want to really help him reach the final level. Miranda in Charge is really impressive work, so much effort and detail went into it. Waiting for a public release was not my agenda.
Desire deserved to get paid for that work, he was even nice enough to release it publicly. Imagine if Affect3D had it instead lol. You would be paying at least $24.00 or $30.00 by default.

DesireSFM spent over 200 hours working on this project, a total of 4 months according to what he told me. Not only that it’s over 18 minutes in length almost 20 minutes! That’s plenty of time to get your release on. It truly is the best thing I’ve used to help me battle stress. You ever hear of Art Therapy? lol That’s exactly what this is to me.
Miranda In Charge is pure Art Therapy. Every time I view it, it’s either because I’m horny, or I need it to relax because I struggle with so many dark and improper thoughts that can result in me disappearing forever. Watching Femshep fuck the sin out of Miranda was the best damn therapy session my $35 got me.
I’m inside of my mind begging the session to be 30 minutes longer because when your getting near those credits, it’s like...Damn that’s the end of it. What can I do to help make these longer than what they are?
Now if he would ignore the lore every now and then when he did some of his projects, I would be even more generous and invested just because it would be damn amazing to see how he handles mixed relationships between different characters from different worlds! I kid you not. I feel Miranda in Charge proved what characters are capable of when they already know each other. Imagine what the relationships would be like if characters didn’t know each other at all.
How would Miranda react to a woman from one of the games that Desire likes to play invading her world? How would those women deal with her behavior? Would they be as weak or stronger than Femshep at handling her? These are things that came to mind when I was viewing Miranda in Charge.
TRULY EROTIC ART OF THE YEAR WORTHY! AND THE REACTIONS WERE POSITIVE EVERYWHERE!
Some admitted this made it even more enjoyable seeing Femshep helpless like that. In fact they all LIKED and APPROVED OF IT. But there were others that wanted to see Femshep remain in full Dominant mode from beginning to end (myself included). I didn’t even make the animation and even I was ecstatic that people were very pleased with what they saw. You can see this in all the positive feedback he has received before and even after the public release on his wall post.
Miranda in Charge was a very huge project that exceeded expectations. The damn public release iterately has over 5,000+ Followers. I won’t be surprised if it reaches 10,000 or even 20,000 eventually. I think the reaction for M.I.C.
was even bigger than the one for The Witcher that he did.
I had people on Pivix asking me about it when I posted images from the tribute, I had people discussing it with me from Naughty Machinima, and on here as well. DesireSfm really outdid himself but this wouldn’t be the first time he impressed me or even the last including the majority of the people that got their hands on his recent work.

From what he told me, he doesn’t make the characters himself so whatever technical issue the characters has is clearly on the hands of the character creators part, not Desires.
Anyway I am very impressed and pleased with Miranda in Charge, it was definitely worth the $35.00 I paid to see it. Plus I have a lot of faith in the artist, and look forward to his future ideas.

18 minutes in length, that is some effort you just don’t get too often from most animators especially ones that do this type of work. I wished it was a little longer, but 18 minutes for a video that took 4 months and 200 hours to produce is quite a milestone for one person alone to achieve. It can be awhile before we see the sequel to this masterpiece or anything else of the same length. Lets just hope and pray he can take it a step further by making it a little longer and ROUGHER than the first one. EDI looked as if she was ready for war with that dick.
SOUND QUALITY: 10/10
