Is Bible Black Still Relevant After 16 years?

Before Bible Black (バイブルブラック Baiburu Burakku) was an animated series, it started out as a PC game and was published on July 14, 2000 ( I was in the damn 7th grade!). Back then I had no idea that this even existed I was aware of anime, but it took me awhile before I discovered the darker side of it and even though Bible Black was the first hentai/anime I watched that contained a dick girl in it. One scene that comes to mind that was almost ruined because of it, was the Bank robbery scene where the Robber pulls the trigger inside one of the women and kills her after he cums. A lot of people hated that scene, no one complained about the the futa assault that follows. Just the gore part with the shotgun. Reika use to be a good girl...She wasn’t the antagonist at first...She became corrupted...From being raped and making a deal with Satan after a ritual went bad and almost killed her. Pretty much selling her soul was the only way she was able to survive.

Reika Kitami was recognized for being a notorious female villain, most people don’t even remember how she was before she became the antagonist of the series. Most people forgot about her soft side, before the demon possession, selling her soul, etc. Maybe it’s because it didn’t last for very long. The way she looked was different. She use to look much younger too like a teenager and wore the school uniform like all the other girls in the series.

I don’t know how old she was in the beginning but she started out looking like a 15 year old girl in her school uniform, then matured and looked like a 23 year old as seen in the image above.
After she got corrupted, she looked mid 30s and her facial features went from polite young woman to twisted demented Witch.

Her face was all evil and sinister, you can easily tell that her appearances changed A LOT over time. She stopped wearing her school uniform and adopted a sexy nurse appearance where she wore a white overcoat and a dark bluish tight fitted dress underneath it.
Her body was pretty average what they should of did with her corrupted form was add some muscular features on her, give her more of an athletic appearance. At least that's what someone said when they briefly reviewed one of the episodes they stated that too many women looked the same when they were naked. I never understood if the antagonist was trying to avoid Satan entirely by body swapping or preparing herself to fight him in some epic battle for her soul since she had to find a virgin body and possibly remain celibate for the rest of her life to avoid death. But she enjoyed sex too much to live a life of celibacy even if it meant dying.
They do show Satan a few times which is a huge purple monster thing with tentacles. His face looks like a man though.

Plus I don’t even think Jody is a virgin so why would she need her? It’s like the series had very few virgin girls other than a few no name background characters that were shown temporarily like the bank teller..If Reika really wanted a virgin, why did she assault the virgin bank teller instead of possessing her?  I remember when people kept claiming the woman (I forgot her name) in this scene was impregnated by Reika, then I come to find out she was filled up full of water. That was by far the biggest let down ever...Every time I kept thinking it was a pregnancy caused by Reika my dick wouldn't leave me alone...Then I find out the truth I can now barely get excited for this scene anymore... Why did the person responsible for creating this scene have to do that? Just WHY!

Satan grants Reika powers, she grows a dick with no testicles (lame), and in some episodes it looks too small or thin, but when she possessed Imari her cock looked a lot bigger during that bathroom scene when she breaks out of her restraints. Bible Black had two villains in the series, but she wasn’t as popular or appealing as Reika so they didn’t show her that much and people forgot about her lol so whenever you see people cosplaying Bible Black. Regardless of Jody’s lack of popularity she was still important to the plot just as much as every other character was that had main roles. Jody Crowley could easily have passed as being Reika’s younger sister who also had a cock, but her powers for some reason sort of surpassed Reika’s, or so it had seemed during the scenes in New Testament when she dominated Imari/Reika.

Then Reika possessed her body after the Devil took her soul but failed to take Reika’s. I’m assuming that Jody failed to complete the ritual or something and her contract ended resulting in her dying. Or I should say Jody lost her soul and Reika was able to get inside of Jody’s body....Weird because now that just means the sequel will showcase Reika as Jody...Lame...

The ending of New Testament pretty much sums up that the series is not officially over or dead even though it seems to be that way.

New Testament was released somewhere between 2004-2008 so that was 11 years ago if it came out in 2008 and it shouldn’t take that long just to produce an animated series...

This could only mean that the series got either cancelled or they forgot about it completely. This happens with movies all the time that never go into production despite there were talks of it.Milk Studio may have forgot all about it. Japan has been struggling a lot lately both with Anime and Video games. Therefore it would be nice to see how they handle a sequel, what the plot would be the next time around. I would be much more invested if all the sex scenes were like the bank teller ones excluding the violent murder parts with the gun, the guy getting his neck snapped wasn’t as brutal looking as the shotgun scene.

Is Bible Black still relevant and what did it do for the futa genre? I believe in some way it did help the futa genre a little, but because dick girl art has been around long before Bible Black, it was pretty much the first Futa animation that had really good sex scenes in it compared to anything else at the time that tried exploring the dick girl theme. Angel Blade came close but Bible Black is more well known than Angel Blade.

Bible Black is pretty much the Death Note of Hentai. Because out of every other hentai on the market, this one definitely gained a bigger following for exploring the dark side of sexual content. There was nothing else quite like it. Sure there is plenty of hentai to choose from, but none of them really had such a drawn out plot like Bible Black did, nor were they trying to be this serious.

I could be wrong about my analysis on the matter so I won’t try to pretend like I have all the answers. There are hentai’s out there with much more taboo concepts surrounding them and there's nothing wrong with this since there is a market for these things and whatever artist that explores it will reap the rewards associated with it.
