BoxOfWant is a different Kind Of Artist with a background in Futa

 

I spoke about horror content before related to futanari, and it's a rare genre that only a few artists can pull off correctly. I seldom wonder why I'm the only one who seems deeply fascinated by mixing Futanari with horror because no matter how much research I do on the web for other artists who are also interested in it...unless you count Blackadder.

But aside from him and myself there honestly aren't any others, but it seems I've finally met my match in an artist that goes by the name Box Of Want.  I noticed he does a good deal of violent content that involves forced sexual encounters, his Resident Evil comic had lots of that in it because of the zombies. I mean sure I do violent art too. But when I came across Box Of Want's Resident Evil short comic, I was impressed and wanted to find out if this guy was a natural futanari/horror artist who did a lot of comics similar to it and I was ready, and prepared to support him the moment I could afford to.

 Unfortunately he doesn't have that many and from the looks of his Newgrounds page, he does a lot of straight forward content, his art style looks a lot like the Dark Horse stuff, I'm positive the guy can go pro if he wanted to and work for a comic publisher if he isn't afraid of the big leagues, and yes I do indeed believe he has the talent and skill to take a gamble on it...

When I came to find out that the two comics he did were commissions..I was a little disappointed because it wasn't a normal thing he was doing on a regular basis.

 Anyway, after I had the chance to go through both of his short comics, I noticed they were lacking in dialog, not to mention he only did about 7 or 10 pages for both of them which is painfully short for something so damn refreshing. But they also aren't the only ones he created.

The futanari genre has been stale for quite some time, with too many futanari artist playing it safe and not enough new ideas flowing in from them. But just what exactly is BoxOfWant's main focus and direction? A lot of his work is dark in nature yet highly enjoyable.

 I wouldn't exactly say that Box Of Want is a Horror Erotic artist, more like a Dark Erotic Artist there is a difference between the two. A Horror Erotic Artist is much more willing to take greater risk, isn't afraid to really "Go there." A Dark Erotic Artist is slightly tamer, but will still take some risk with content having violence in it every once in a while but nothing on extreme levels like the material I'm known for creating...I mean shit I love what I do and my audience enjoys it too. I know I've seen a few violent images from Box Of Want...He's great at what he does, and I enjoy his presentations. 

 We honestly do need artist like this to make the Futanari genre better than what it currently is since the product is boring and mediocre at least to me I feel that way about it...These days it's just too damn tame to be exciting and gradually falling behind other genres. I spend a lot of time online looking for something I've not seen before with this particular theme, and it's honestly not there! Futanari artist lack the creative mindset, I'm not trying to be mean just being brutally honest.

There are a lot of artists that just do futanari for the sole purpose of its popularity, and because they just want to see dicks on a girl which is fine. I love dick on my women too. I just want to see more content similar to what Box Of Want did and I know that I'm not alone on this one either. I think if he had made it at least 20-50 pages long, he would be on par with a lot of the comic artist that post their content over on https://zizki.com/ a lot of artists there tend to make actual erotic/porn comics with deep story telling, and I believe Box Of Want is talented enough to do the same which I would financially support to see it become a possibility if he's still currently active. 

BRUTAL FUTA'S EVERYWHERE! Box Of Want know his way around the genre for sure. But since it's a commission piece, the person that gave him the idea gets the credit as well for thinking this up unless they gave him full creative control over it. 

Therefore I'd like to sit down and have a chat with him about his work. Even though his two Resident Evil Comics didn't have enough dialog, and ended so shortly, they are amazingly good! If you're interested in an artist that does similar content like me, but in drawing format. I'd recommend you go to him for commissions. He can make your dreams a reality for sure, and I was thinking about having him do some work for me in the future if his prices are affordable. I've always wanted to see some of my girls drawn by a 2D artist. 

Would be kind of interesting to see them in that concept. Overall BoxOfWant has a massive collection of artwork he created, and because he's got us on the futanari end covered, well just be prepared to be amazed and astonished, the man is talented. Judging from his attitude and the way he responds to people, he's a well rounded, well-spoken, and a responsive friendly minded person so I wouldn't mind sitting down with him, and reminiscing about something he could do for me or just have a conversation like I do with all the other artist I speak to from time to time.

I respect the hell out of any artist that's open to stepping outside of their own comfort zone to do what no one else or very few others are willing to do with a dying genre. I'm not that impressed with the heterosexual material involving male and female because I'm fully aware that enough artist that does male on female are definitely bigger risk-takers than the Futanari crowd.

Find me any futa artist that can compete with this entire scene lol, go on I challenge you.

But the one thing about Box Of Want is that he's not afraid to take the risk with futanari material in general, and is possibly one of the few artists I can think of that does Non-Consent material with futanari's besides myself  and BlackAdder who is quite well known for it..There are a couple more I can't name off the top of my head right now, but there aren't too many of them when you compare them to artist that's strictly male on female. They're the ones who will do just about any and everything.

I said it for the longest of time, the dick-girl genre needs new blood, we need more not just a few creative artist with an open mind, and we certainly need more artist that is willing to do something besides the risk-free material, that futanari has been stuck with for the longest of time..It's almost like the brutal nature of a futa taking what she wants ended with Bible Black New Testament and everyone forgot just how ruthless and kinky Reika was whenever she took a woman against her will.

If artist who are producing heterosexual material with these themes aren't afraid to try something different, whats holding futanari artist back? We need to be more daring just like they are and stop with all this softcore nonsense that's dragging the genre down into complete boredom. Box Of Want is what Dark Horse or Heavy Metal Comics would be if they took over the genre and did pornographic futanari content, I'd love to see that! 

Because one thing about Heavy Metal, they aren't going to back down from a challenge when it comes down to fantasy, erotica, and extreme material they are all over it so I've always had the upmost respect for the mature material they produced over the years.  I see this same level of creativity with Box Of Want's content as well, he's certainly on their level. I don't know if he's even aware of it but he's definitely on par with them. I also have the same attitude toward the guys who did The Banana Games series...I just strongly hated the characters, and didn't like the dialog or the plot directions from their work. But the art style and sex was always amazing.

A lot of these futanari artist they love to do everything centered around the same concept of love and intimacy...It's like the whole genre is focused on Romantic encounters...Meanwhile ideas are plentiful elsewhere, but nobody is taking advantage of those ideas.  You can see the heterosexual male on female market continue to grow, expand, and develop new ideas every day...But where is this with the futa community???? I can pick out a handful of male on female artist with creative ideas vs those who are 100% futanari artist that continue to do what a thousand other futanari artist are doing.

It's easy to sit there and just produce what you feel is "safer" but artist are suppose to be innovators, I'm just not seeing that with the futanari genre that much these days. I have sort of a film making mentality, I went to school for animation and film..One of the things they asked me in class was "Why are you interested in animation and film?" I said "I want to someday create my own work, I don't know maybe I'll do something in porn but I prefer the term Erotica because it sounds better. I can't just do story and no sex and sex and no story, I have to blend all of these things together because a lot of this stuff is just too damn important to me."  I failed to pass film class, but I still learned something from it.

Then when I see an artist like Box Of Want come on the scene, it's like "Yes this guy is what we need to see more of, this one right here. He's the one we should be supporting, that artist is the future!"

I'm thankful for artist like Box Of Want stepping their game up with the futanari genre I just wish he was more active and focused on it a lot more in the form of a comic with the horror theme. If more artist had his vision and art direction with this genre, Futanari would be a very appealing genre right now instead of a boring one that's been going through the same cycle forever with no sign of new life being born out of it. 

There are just too many artist producing content involving women with dicks. I think about the only other futanari artist I can give the same amount of equal credit to that does comics on this level would have to go to the creators of Innocent Dick Girls, I love their stuff, I love the art direction.

 I tried looking up their website, and from the looks of it.. They changed the name to https://futagirl.com/ so I'm guessing they wanted to drop InnocentDickgirl name, I'm glad their still active though. They make the best drawn futanari art and short stories sometimes. Japanese artist do a good job of it as well, but most of their content is usually censored to the point of being worthless.

Anyway Box Of Want truly have what it takes to move the genre forward, but I also believe I'm capable of that as well. Regardless if anyone else sees it. Just give me time to improve on what I already know and have done in the past. It may seem like I just insulted the futanari community entirely...No I just felt it was time someone admitted the truth...This genre is painfully boring and dying without innovation and there is nothing wrong with coming out on this. Futa is a very important genre to me, and I'd hate to see it stay the same.

 I truly believe Box Of Want can change all of this if we had more artist like him and the few others who have taken chances and risk with this theme before...There just aren't that many of us....I will also go on record to say that KamasdevasSFM is also another artist who does interesting work, both him and DesireSFM are still relevant in the futa world and because of those two we get a lot of great story driven animation work.  I consider both of these gentlemen pioneers of the futanari genre. So no I didn't forget about them at all. Both Kamadevas and Desire are doing their own Resident Evil animations this year.
