We need better protection against Art Censorship
Master and Visa card is at it again, now they've finally managed to subdue and defeat Subscribstar by forcing them to shut out artists based on what content they are allowed to create. It's not just lolicon that's under attack, they've managed to attack everything from Incest to rape material, it doesn't matter if it's offensive enough, Subscribstar went full blown censorship on all of it. And as a result they've made themselves a worse version of Patreon if that's even fucking possible... In other news AllTheFallen is shutting down if it hasn't already.
Some say it's due to the cost of maintaining the site, I'm not sure if that's only the case or censorship has played a role in a long running art platform finally closing it's doors... What this has done so far is prompt many artists to give up and call it quits...Nobody wants to fight for art freedom anymore so giving up and walking away seems to be the option and path they're all choosing to take...And that works out well for the censors because this is exactly what they want, a defeated population that accepts heavy censorship.
Censoring art was always unconstitutional, but most policy makers don't respect the rights of those who want a way to express themselves no matter how "dangerous" their ideas may be. Loli art is one of those heavily misunderstood art genres that has been banished from just about every art platform that allows explicit art material to flourish. Blame the current state of politics for this shit if you want, but before any of that stuff came out publicly, lolicon art was still under attack by various platforms changing their policies.
Whenever people choose to ban something they always hide behind children to do so, this same garbage was going on back in the early 1990s when policy makers were whining about the threat of violent video games. As soon as the school shooting of Columbia High happened in 1999 video games were the first thing to come up as the culprit behind motivating the two school shooters. Today it's explicit content which is a lot easier to censor than violent media. Now when someone sees a person getting their spinal cord ripped out in Mortal Kombat. The Pro-Censorship crowd doesn't care about it much anymore, sexual content is easier to attack and censor.
I mean considering all the legal issues aside, no one anywhere in the world is being prosecuted over their artwork other than countries that have oppressive laws against almost everything. In China you can be thrown in the slammer for too much gore, or at least I heard from Chinese artist from a long time ago that ultra violent material is not tolerated by the Chinese Government. In the UK, they certainly do punish over certain acts within fictional works of art. But who gives a shit about a failed country that's not even British anymore? Fuck the United Kingdom. In the U.S. it all boils down to which State you're in or at least this is what I assume. Texas for instance has openly attacked various forms of art and wants to punish people severely over their artistic ideas with actual prison sentences if they condemn it as "obscene". It's one of the most Draconian Dictator states in the U.S. that use to pretend it was freer than anywhere else in the United States just because people can walk around with their firearms being exposed.
I use to defend loli art against censorship, and yes I was attacked, labeled stupid names the same way I've been called gay or a fag whenever I defended Futanari Artwork. Especially on any site that's Pro-Anti Dick Women. I once had a woman from Australia over on Deviant Art come at me so hard over defending lolicon that she took my real photo which I had posted on the site, she took my real photo from my profile and tried to dox me all over the site to ruin me over something trivial. I couldn't help but laugh at how ignorant she was and how desperate she wanted to ruin me over my stance in defending people's right to freedom of expression. That ended that fight after I blocked her sorry ass. Then she goes and get one of her friends to attack me, it was either that or she made a secondary account to continue harassing me over defending a damn art genre.
There use to be a time when all art was allowed and acceptable then came all these dumbshit policies that took all the fun out of art platforms... Of course the controversial loli art genre could be a protected art genre like everything else if there were strong advocacy voices out there defending it but as I have said before, Lolicon art isn't the only form of art that's found itself banished off platforms. It's just the most common one that often faces backlash and banishment first before platforms begin targeting all the other content they believe is "harmful" (Incest, Bestiality, Cub material, Rape, Gore, etc). "Racist/Hate speech" art is only tolerated if it's directed at whites only...
That explains why the "BLEACHED" stuff doesn't bother to have the dehumanizing anti-black male captions compared to the "BLACKED/BNWO" stuff which is heavily anti-white male, even going as far as promoting white men going fully instinct and no art site dares ban it yet they still have "No hate speech" policies which have always been biased double edge sword bullshit.
It's the same way with real porn sites too, these platforms all allow hateful content but only if it's directed at white men. There are THOUSANDS of these disturbing and cringe "BNWO" videos all over the place and none of them ever get flagged for removal for being offensive. They won't even let you blacklist it if you don't want to see it, so you're FORCED to be exposed to all this black male superiority weird cuck race bait shit and it's EVERYWHERE now.
In other words you're free to be openly hostile and hateful toward whites all you like on these art platforms and porn sites, but attempt this same thing against any protected groups on the same platform allowing hate speech toward white/Caucasian people you'll get suspended or kicked off the platform for violating their fake Hate speech policies. So yes art sites are extremely biased and heavily left leaning but only tolerate ideas they believe are "appropriate" enough to them. Some have tried to argue that it's the Conservatives behind the art censorship but Conservatives aren't the ones who run these fucking art platforms.
Sure people with religious or "Conservative" like views may attack the platforms and even try to get them shut down but they aren't the ones writing the policies on the platforms the Left leaning turds are doing that rather than saying "okay everything will be tolerated and allowed here no matter who it offends including myself." Hentai Foundry use to be open to everything no matter what it was. They were the ultimate go to art site back in the early 2000s now they suck like everybody else. Baraag so far is the only art site that's REAL and doesn't censor anyone, the owner isn't some biased fraud that treats some artists fairly while judging ideas of other artists. Everything is fair game on his platform and that's the way it use to be for every other art platform before they all turned into pro-censorship dicks. I mean it's one thing if some art sites don't want certain content to be associated with their platform, but when it counts for about 98% of the internet, that is a problem. There aught to be a balance of these kind of things.
Trying to argue that it's only fiction is also stupid not to mention meaningless. The censors know it's fiction but that's not the point of them targeting it. They are banning content due to the fact they see it as offensive or "obscene" so they want all of it banished not only off of their platforms but banished out of media entirely. It's also just another way for them to piss off people so that's another reason why they are doing it and why payment processors and big wigs like Visa/Master card is attacking everyone by weaponizing it's brand by threatening anyone relying on them for financial reasons. So they are controlling what content is allowed if people are doing any kind of business with them.
I'm just severely bored at this point, that's why lately I've been creating less explicit art myself and just focusing on a lot of old ideas from my past like women boxing themes. At some point I defended the Loli art genre because it's a very unique art genre and it didn't deserve all the hate it was getting, but we live in a time where everything is being criminalized and banish. It's only a matter of time before it becomes illegal to view pornographic content at all...If that happens, it's only because religious fanatics have taken over the laws completely.
For what it's really worth art always provided people a healthy way of combating whatever problems they were having in their real lives. Creating art is safer than abusing drugs, it's safer than being a drunken alcoholic, and it keeps you grounded in ways that psychological sessions with a health professional are often unable to do. I always used and relied on my artwork as a means of dealing with my depression, my inner demons, my failures, the amount of frustration that I have with the current state of things in the world today and all the dark thoughts I had that was leading me closer to committing suicide due to my inability to survive in the world and being both learning and mentally disabled makes it even tougher on me... Having a way to express how I was feeling was always important to me...
