AI SLOP some positives and negatives explained
Is it possible to accept AI while also hating the rest of it? Is there any positives at all to AI or it is really so bad it's unworthy to exist among us who prefer an AI-Free art world? Do you believe that people are unfair to AI generated content or are their issues with it justified because AI has no doubt ruined art and saturated the entire web? I've been hearing for a few years now that AI is "SLOP" that is the negative term that a majority of people who hate and despise AI have decided to label it as. I take it that the word SLOP is just slang for "garbage, awful, terrible, trash, etc." More like a lesser harsh sounding term to replace all the other overused insulting terms we usually call something that sucks...I mean "sucks" is the word we use to label a lot of things we didn't like back in the 1990s.
However, I've been around a lot of art sites as of lately and have seen my fair share of AI generated content I only accept because non-AI version of it don't exist at all. Not all of it is bad or "SLOP" and I'll tell you why based on my own experiences observing it over the years. While I do hate it's taking over every damn art platform, and why so many artists are quick to denounce the use of it. I won't write it off completely due to the sheer lack of available artists refusing to do anything I want to see but it only exist in the form of AI generated artwork...Maybe I don't look hard enough, I don't know...Pornography as of lately is starting to just really bore me now...
I've only given AI a chance because it can create a lot of the kind of stuff I wish I could see otherwise, but nobody is doing any of it..So what can you do? You settle for what's available regardless of how it's produced. My biggest problem with AI other than it's ruining art platforms is that there's too much generic bullshit with this stuff... About 90% of the AI content I come across on explicit websites is lazy as shit Pinup garbage. You know just some woman or fake dickgirl standing there posing, and you'll have people filling up their entire gallery with THOUSANDS of these generic as hell images...And it's ridiculous...
I mean it's not great, it's not unique, it's just lazy and boring. The odds of seeing something tremendous or unique done with AI is very rare, about the only time I ran into something AI that kind of impressed me was some of the content I discovered on DeviantArt, granted I can't stand softcore content but most AI sites won't let you make pornography with it....And the porn stuff I did see was just so horribly bad and poorly generated...AI tends to make everything look cheap...The only time it doesn't look so cheap is when it's animated in such a way that you hardly noticed it's AI generated, like a lot of the images and videos I'm using in this particular topic of discussion. When I first came across these, I couldn't even tell that it was AI at first. These are generated images and animations I'd consider "top tier" level stuff because it looks so amazingly real and the animations don't suffer from the usual issues like, multiple hands, distorted features, everything is just animated so perfectly well.
I mean people are so embarrassed by AI that a lot of artists are putting "Not AI generated" as a disclaimer on their front page. Especially since AI can generate content that doesn't even LOOK like AI created it at all. It's getting a lot more sophisticated depending on the program people are using. I've come across content that I actually thought was created by someone naturally, then I went to another site and noticed FAR too many similar themed images that looked a lot like the Renaissance European art style. I KNEW right then and there I was looking at AI generated artwork...Because nobody today paints like that or creates art even remotely similar to the renaissance era of artwork anymore. If you notice any "modern" made Renaissance style art, it's 100 percent fake. It's kind of unique but also depressing at the same time how AI can rip off that style of art, which is basically stealing the art style of deceased legends.
In the past I've talked about how AI has brought to life several ideas that don't exist in any other form...But even though AI is a lazy way to produce art out of thin air by simply entering text into a program, and then that program reads back all the text to create the image....It's not as easy as it sounds at least not when I tried to use it... I've tried using AI myself to generate something I wasn't exactly able to create because I really wanted to see an updated version of that Bible Black bathroom rape scene where Imari breaks free of her restraints and brutalizes a helpless female bankteller by blowing her load inside of her multiple times. No matter what I tried to tell the AI to do, it wouldn't create the damn scene. I was confused to how people were using AI to generate all these interesting looking images because I thought it was suppose to be simple and easy...
Especially if you want it to appear as though they don't have multiple fingers, legs, or turning around in some weird bizarre way. I've seen some extremely well detailed AI content on Deviant Art, and because of it I was interested in how this stuff really works despite the hate it gets. If I want to see Sadako from the Ring doing something with another female in animated form, AI can make this stuff HAPPEN.
Unfortunately you have to be extremely detailed when you are explaining to the AI what you want it to do in order for it to even work properly. Not saying it requires any "Skill" to figure this out, but you have to be very creative and highly detailed in the description. You can't just say "Imari from Bible Black attacks helpless female bankteller" and tada! The image appears, you have to actually EXPLAIN it in such a sophisticated well thought out way that the AI understands it enough to generate the image properly...
And quite frankly I have no idea how to do it. I've tried to recreate that scene myself in Daz studio without the use of AI, but I simply don't have an Imari character or a Reika Kitami character.. So in order to have those characters, I would need their hairstyles, I can create their faces shapes/morphs myself since they wouldn't look anything like their 2D counterparts anyway... But without their hairstyles I cant just slap some random short hair bob style on Reika and call her "Reika Kitami" I need her exact hairstyle with the bangs in the front and everything. With that said, here are some top reasons why AI is not entirely "SLOP" or really as bad as people say it is...And before you throw your glass slipper at my face, no I'm not defending AI or encouraging people to start using it...I'm just being totally honest as to WHY it's not 100% awful, and some reasons why it is SLOP.

AI creates a lot of ideas that don't exist in any other format mainly due to many artists having strict preferences, this is especially true of Futanari artists. This is the main thing about it that I've noticed, before AI was ever a thing. There are all kinds of AI generated content of Reika Kitami from Bible Black, and I've been dying to see more content of this character since 2005, and yet nobody has bothered to do shit from this series...Nothing. AI changed this because now there is LOTS of great artwork of Reika, and it doesn't look like any "SLOP."...I was about 18 or 20 years old when Bible Black came out.
NEGATIVE REASON 1
Even though AI can fulfill some of my fantasies that don't exist from any other sources, there are a lot of ideas I hate because of AI. If someone doesn't want to pay an artists to create their idea, well now they can just do it with the power of AI to generate what they would normally pay someone to create. This has allowed people to ruin some of my favorite female characters by using them in themes and concepts I strongly hate and none of it would have been possible without someone using AI since no one else would have bothered to come up with it.
POSITIVE REASON 2
It can create almost near perfect animated scenes as you can see above^, so if there's something you'd love to see animated but can't afford to pay some overpriced artist who might charge you fucking $8000+ for a 30 second animation and I've seen some of them even charging over $20,000+ because they are that stupid and ridiculously dumb if they think anybody is going to pay a house down-payment or the price of a used car just for an animation...I mean I know it's a lot of work to animate stuff, but are they TRYING to make people homeless? It's just flat out greed...
It's almost hard to not hate AI when people these days want to see things they can't get access to no other way without bankrupting themselves, not everyone can learn Blender, and quite frankly I don't want to do boring tedious shit that take 3+ years just to complete so I can show it off to people. Maybe if I were as young as Radroach, sure...But I'm almost 40 years old now...No way in hell I have the time or patience now to master Blender. When I look at the process of animating stuff, it looks like the most BORING experience ever. I can create comics and graphic novels no problem because I love telling stories anyway. I'll sit here and render 200+ scenes to create a 140 page book, but I can't imagine the suffering trying to figure out how to animate every moving part between characters...It's just too advanced for me to master without strict training.
NEGATIVE REASON 2
AI is practically replacing real art and that's a horrible thing, but it's also replacing people as well. I don't support AI taking over, but I applaud it for being able to animate/create content that no one is normally producing in any other format, although AI generated porn is still shitty and terribly animated. I've become a huge fan of Indian women domination concepts, but the only way I get to see anything like that is on DeviantArt, or if I were to produce it myself.
POSITIVE REASONS 3
Because some of it can do realistic content, you can take full advantage of this and create some of the most interesting real life like scenarios. The other day I was on Deviant art and saw someone pairing up real people in lesbian scenes who aren't real Lesbians...Granted from an ethical standpoint this could get people in legal trouble if someone sees it and decides to go after them over it. I mean you're treading hot water with such content and get sued even. Of course people are aware that AI can do this, personally I like it because for YEARS I've always wanted to see certain women involved in lesbian situations even if they aren't Lesbians in real life. Winona Ryder being dominated by Joyce Dewitt and both of them having those short tomboy haircuts they use to sport in television and films back in the 80s and 90s... Now that's a striking combination worthy of hanging up on a wall.

AI without a shadow of a doubt cheapens art, there are so many great ideas that AI can just churn out despite so much of it generally looks the damn same, and too much of what I saw is just lame ass Pinup content. But when you look and observe close enough you realize how any of it was "created" which is basically generated content so it's not really "created." But when you think about how a lot of it comes to life before our own eyes...
People just aren't that impressed because like I said, AI cheapens art even if the idea it generated looks really good. I've seen some very unique content generated through AI, but it's not impressive, it's not amazing, it has no wow factor because AI did all the work even though it required you to write up a detailed description for any of it to work properly. It's like this a lot of people will ALWAYS remember great artists but nobody is going to remember who these AI content generators are...It's a create anything you want at the expense of not investing the effort into doing it the natural way.
There's just no craftsmanship behind the work, and so by generating all these images that would impress people had any of it were created through natural means...AI is still....Well as they say "SLOP." I follow a few AI content creators on DA, and one of them makes some of the best Milf/young female content but looking at a lot it, and I'm like "yeah I was already making art like this 12+ years ago!" Especially the stuff involving older nuns molesting younger women.

It can replicate old artstyles from a long time ago, it definitely doesn't have that AI look about it either.
